I began week thirty nine of my pregnancy with a considerable amount of anticipation. My hope for week thirty nine is of course the birth of our daughter. However, I am not going to assume that she will come before her due date.

As I near the end of my pregnancy, I am finding that I cannot seem to slow down. Every day begins with a new "to do" list. From finishing nursery projects to running weekly errands, to cleaning, to holiday baking; there is always something to do that seems to require urgent attention.

11AM It has been two hours since our first stop and we could use some gasoline in the car. I am fairly quickly able to find a big gas station right off the interstate, which makes for a much easier stop.
