8AM We have only been driving for an hour and II was hoping that I could make at least two hours before needing to stop to use the restroom. After finishing my latte and with a baby bouncing on my bladder, it seems that stopping sooner than I anticipated is going to be a necessity.

The day planned for our long drive as arrived! 6AM: Wake up and make breakfast! I prepared the veggies for our omlete the day before and set everything up for my latte the evening before too.

I have spent the last two days preparing for a long drive to visit my sister, her husband, and their precious four week old baby girl. This will be my first long drive with just the kids, granted one is in utero.

Missing My Students

School has begun. While I am happy that I do not have the stress of the new academic year while being pregnant, I miss my students. They really are incredible human beings. High school is a tough age group to teach but I loved teaching high schoolers.

My twentieth week of pregnancy begins with my sister still visiting! At twenty weeks some things have changed but most things have stayed the same. I have made it to the half way point which makes me feel like my pregnancy is official well on its way.

We are quickly approaching the half way point of my pregnancy! The excitement from last week (birthdays and the ultrasound etc) continues with the visit of my thirty three week pregnant sister and her husband.

Energy during pregnancy is important. It motivates us to prepare and plan for the precious addition to our family. Energy also helps us maintain a positive outlook and overall mood. All in all energy propels us to do the things that we have to do even if we do not want to do them.

The Craving

Induced by a local magazine article, I spent a good twenty minutes trying to find a local sandwich shop that I had not heard of before. I am not usually proned to cravings during pregnancy (aside from my normal non-pregnant cravings), but recently I was craving a deli style sandwich of sorts.
