Week Thirty Nine

I began week thirty nine of my pregnancy with a considerable amount of anticipation. My hope for week thirty nine is of course the birth of our daughter. However, I am not going to assume that she will come before her due date. There is clearly no guarantee (with truly natural birth) that the baby will come within the forty week designation. Whether you’re a veteran mom or about to give birth to your first child, you probably have opinions about life with a newborn.
