Last Minute Gift Ideas for the Pregnant Woman in Your Life

This is probably the first year in my life that I have been finished with my Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve. It's a miracle and I attribute it to the wonder of online shopping. I just checked the tracking and my last gift will arrive on Friday, just in time to wrap it! I never had to leave my house. My husband will probably go out tonight or tomorrow and buy all of the stocking stuffers. I can't believe Christmas is just days away!

If you're not done with your shopping, here's your cue to freak out. Please do not panic, though, because I have some gift ideas for you if you have not found the perfect gift for the pregnant woman in your life.

Right now, her life is all about the baby. She probably spends every spare dime on stuff for the nursery, baby clothes, diapers, etc. Take this opportunity to spoil her because it's probably the only time it will happen this year (unless she has a birthday coming up). Think "pampering." Does she love chocolate? Get her some gourmet truffles or bon bons. Is pregnancy killing her back? Get her a gift certificate for a prenatal message with a licensed prenatal massage therapist. You can never go wrong with sweet smelling body butter. Look for some with cocoa butter to help minimize the appearance of stretch marks. Treat her with a gift card to her favorite restaurant.

Not every gift has to be store bought, though. Make some coupons for service type things that you will do for her. For example, you could make a coupon for "one week off from ______" and fill in whatever chore she hates the most. If there is ever a time in a woman's life when she wants an escape from the daily grind, it's during pregnancy when she is exhausted and sore.
