This week I touched on some intimate pregnancy issues, and some that may affect a woman in early stages of pregnancy. Boy or Girl? I’ve been pregnant two times, and with both babies I chose to wait until their birth to find out their sex. I think waiting to find out is like unwrapping the ultimate present (and I also think that ultrasounds are dangerous – but that’s another article). “Since I Have Constant Heartburn…”

“…My baby is going to have an afro!” my friend exclaimed this morning. I responded, “well that makes sense, because my son is bald and I had no heartburn!” We laughed, knowing this old wives’ tale is anything but scientific. Regardless, it’s still fun to joke about, especially when it holds “true” for someone like it did for me.
