I am in love. I recently browsed through Forever 21's newest line, "Love 21 Maternity," and I am hooked. I am already looking forward to the next pregnancy just so I can wear these clothes. The drop waist tunic is so stylish. The tanks and tees are super long. (That's a big plus considering I always had a problem with coverage near the end of my pregnancy.) The yoga pants look really comfortable with the soft fold-over waist band. The leggings are cute and super affordable at just $12.80. The entire line is low priced, especially compared to typical prices for maternity clothes. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that the basic layering cami is under $5! It's almost like shopping the clearance rack, which is, of course, my favorite kind of shopping.

I first came upon the line when I was reading an article about how the company is receiving some backlash from people who believe they are promoting teen pregnancy. Though the store does cater to the teen set, the maternity line is a subset of their Love 21 line, which features more contemporary styles that are clearly geared towards young women rather than teens. Honestly? I'm in my mid-twenties and I still shop the juniors section sometimes. I feel stuck somewhere between juniors and misses when I'm shopping for clothes. My closet features a lot of clothes from both. I'm thrilled to find maternity clothes that fit my style. I think Forever 21 was smart to start a maternity line. I'm sure there are many other young women out there like myself who will appreciate the youthful styles and low prices. I really don't believe a maternity line is going to encourage teen pregnancy.

Forever 21's new maternity line is available at select locations and online. According to their website, they will be offering maternity jeans soon, as well!
