Pregnancy Resources: Internet vs. Books

There are tons of pregnancy books out there, and I have even reviewed a few on this blog, but does a woman really need to buy a book when there is so much information available online? Well… yes and no. In my opinion, both internet resources and traditional pregnancy books have value. The internet is full of information, most of which is free, and is easily searched for specific answers. Some Serious Work

Recently I’ve been stranded in a variety of locations without an internet connection. There have been several engagements I needed to attend but there was ample time lost for the work I needed to do. When I was heading to these events I dutifully packed my computer, a pair of headphones, a number of writing utensils, some loose leaf paper and a couple thumb drives (for backup on-the-go). Smart phones (especially iPhones) have the ability to do so much these days. Apps are responsible for much of what we accomplish on our devices, turning a simple phone into a super computer and information powerhouse.
