Traveling During Pregnancy Part IV

11AM It has been two hours since our first stop and we could use some gasoline in the car. I am fairly quickly able to find a big gas station right off the interstate, which makes for a much easier stop. While I am pumping the gas, I am also unbuckling my two year old so that we can make a quick run to the bathroom (at this point I am doing my I-have-to-pee-so-bad dance!). Traveling During Pregnancy Part III

8AM We have only been driving for an hour and II was hoping that I could make at least two hours before needing to stop to use the restroom. After finishing my latte and with a baby bouncing on my bladder, it seems that stopping sooner than I anticipated is going to be a necessity. I just need to find the perfect place to stop. On the Road (Part IV)

10:00AM Now that we are traveling east, the cross wind makes for a certain challenge more so for my husband in the truck than for me. Still it’s not entirely enjoyable to fight against the wind for what will surely be the next few hours. Thankfully, it’s still sunny with no apparent threats of inclement weather. 10:30AM Nausea strikes again! I’m not surprised. Almonds and strawberries to the rescue.
