AAP Recommends Some Schools Start Later

Having trouble getting your teenager to get up and prepare for school in the morning? There is a reason why that it happening – and it isn’t entirely your teen’s fault. Some of it has to do with developmental biology. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is recommending that the start time of the school day be later for middle schools and high schools. Have you heard of Paper.li? I just recently started looking at it. You can use it to create a newspaper of articles, photos, and videos that interest you. Mother Writes Lovely Blog About her Preemie

Studies Show Chelation Doesn’t Help Autism

Research led by Tonya Davis from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, found that chelation therapy does not help with autism. Chelation therapy carries some safety concerns. Parents who are considering having their child go through chelation therapy for autism should keep this in mind. Chelation therapy is something that started to be used as an alternative treatment for autism based upon the theory that autism was caused by mercury poisoning. NBC Cancels “Who Do You Think You Are?” Show

Do you watch “Who Do You Think You Are?” It is currently in season three, and has been a very popular series. It is a show that was directly connected to Ancestry.com and it appeared on NBC.
