Wow, That Was Embarrassing! II

This week I am sharing some embarrassing stories from my own pregnancy. If you missed yesterday's story, you can find it here.
Early in my pregnancy, as I was growing a little pooch, I found it harder and harder to wear pants because the waistline would dig right into my stomach. So, to make myself a little more comfortable at work, I would unbutton my top button while sitting at my desk. I was working in a little cubicle with an L-shaped desk, so even if someone came by to talk to me, they couldn't see my pants or that I had unbuttoned them.
One day I was sitting at my desk, working away and completely focused on the task at hand. I heard the ring of the bell on the front door and quickly got up to greet our customers. As soon as I got to the front counter, I realized that my pants felt very, very loose. I forgot to zip up my pants before standing up! Panic gripped my chest as I wondered what I must look like. Could they see that my pants were undone? What would they think? I tugged at my shirt while speaking to the customers and made it a point to maintain eye contact, rather than look down at my unzipped pants. There was no way for me to zip myself up without drawing attention!
Then I came to my senses and made up an excuse to go back to my desk. I think I told them I needed to look something up. So as soon as I sat down in my chair, I scooted in and zipped and buttoned my pants under the desk. As far as I know, the customers never noticed my blunder, but after that day I made sure to wear either a Bella Band over my unzipped pants or a pair of maternity pants, which had a very loose and soft waistband.
